Since its establishment in 1998, Gomal Medical College has built a proud record of academic excellence, research, and community service. Affiliated with Khyber Medical University and recognised by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, GMC continues to produce competent and compassionate doctors who serve communities across Pakistan and beyond. Research & Development

Research is at the heart of academic life at Gomal Medical College. The college publishes the Gomal Journal of Medical Sciences, hosts an annual International Research Conference, and runs a year-round programme of research activities — including the Life Café, Scientific Café and Research Café, alongside pre-conference hands-on workshops. A weekly Journal Club and monthly Academic Audit meetings keep faculty and students engaged in evidence-based practice, and both student and faculty research are actively encouraged through CME activities, workshops and academic collaborations.
